I have decided that our blog is for everyone that is having a bad day. They look at our life and they can't help but laugh. Who knew that life would get so fun after having kids. Don't get me wrong I love my baby's but they can be a handful a lot of the time! Lindsey commented that I probably get good rest at the end of the day, I get such good rest that I don't even feel both of the boys climb into bed with us. Any help with how to keep your kids in their room all night would be greatly appreciated. They go to bed in their bed but at some point in the night they quietly sneak into our room and very carefully sneak into our bed. Seriously, I have no idea how or when they got there when I wake up in the morning.
This picture is of my dear little Tadlet! His brother thought he needed his hair washed. So he washed it with Desitin diaper rash ointment. It took forever for me to get this water resistant "STUFF" off of his head. He didn't mind though he just laughed. Poor little boy. I can see this is the first of many crazy things his big brother is going to talk him into letting him try!

Blues Clues!
I know, this is the 3rd video in a row but only Darrell can explain this one! This is the day he got his cast off! Tad was in on the game but Joe had already taken him back to the shower to get cleaned up before I could get a shot of him. Oh the joy of the children's educational t.v. shows! Everything is a clue to this stinker! Please excuse my voice, I sound like a dying frog! Joe and I both got the flu that has hit this area. It is not fun I hope nobody else gets it!

Just a peek . . . don't tell Joe
As most of you know, we have been doing a full house remodel pretty much but we haven't posted any pictures. Joe says I am not allowed to until it is finished and we can do before and after pictures. But . . . I LOVE my cabinets to much not to share what they look like. I can't wait until they are installed. Hopefully Saturday! HORRAY!!!! They are a natural finished hickory. They are so pretty, the pictures don't do them justice. Next time you will see them, they will be on my walls!!!!!

HE CAN WALK!!!!
Darrell has figured out how to walk with his leg in a cast. His cast is from his hip to his toes and the Dr. bent his knee so that he could sit in his car seat and the couch and so on. This last week he has figured out how to walk on it and I had to take video. It made me sad to watch him at first but now it is kinda funny and cute! ( just because it is easier for him)

Somethin' New
O.K. We had to break down and buy a new computer. We got the new IMac which is very nice and it comes with a camera that you can record stuff. Darrell is beyond fascinated with this little device. He would sit in front of the computer all day and talk to himself if I would let him. We look so horrible but this is to cute and I can't resist sharing it. I hope you like it.

Our new adventure!
On Tuesday, January 22, we were out doing yard work, when we heard this cry that signals instant panic in any mother, coming from the side of the house. We ran over to the noise and Darrell had pulled our cement mixer on top of him. We took him to the ER and they did x-rays and sure enough he had broken his femur. About 2 inches above the knee. So now we are trying to get used to carrying him everywhere. He can crawl around the house but thats about it. 1 week down, only 2 more to go and he gets if taken off! I can't wait, I feel so sorry for him. He is absolutely miserable. He is so active and for him to not be able to walk is very frustrating for him.

One more to love...
We would like to introduce you to the newest member of our family. This is DOC. Some friends of ours gave him to the boys for Christmas. He is a good little pup. He loves to chase Tad and Darrell and pull on their socks. It is cute but we are kicking that habit before it becomes a problem. He is going to be big we think. He takes after his dad and his dad is pretty big. Anyway, Christmas was fun. We stayed home so that we could work on getting our house finished but is was nice for it to be just us. Here are a few pictures of the boys opening their gifts. We hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Years.
