I have to admit, I was getting jealous of everyones very very cute aprons so I had to have one too. I cheated though, I bought mine instead of making one. And it wasn't with an apron swap our anything. But I got it for cheaper than it would have cost to make it. Anyway, I LOVE IT!! I am very excited to finally have a cute girly apron. Now all I have to do is get my kitchen finished to wear it in. Hopefully I get to use it soon.

First signs of summer
Off with the hair!!!!! And this mamma is glad! Their hair was getting pretty wild. I might be able to control it this way. I am glad it is over with. So are they. Tad was funny to watch, the vibration of the clippers tickled him and he would curl up like a potato bug. It took a lot longer to cut his hair than Darrells.
Tad's hair was WILD!!! It always looked like this, no matter how hard I tried to tame it. It had a mind of its own.
He looks so different!!! A little more grown up. So sad.
Darrell did not want his hair cut. You would have thought I was Sweeny Todd the way he was screaming! He cried from the beginning till the end.
I couldn't help myself. I was so tempted to leave it like this but Joe would have killed me!!!
All done and still very mad at me. Oh well, he looks ten times better!

All Boy!!!!
Today was such a beautiful day we couldn't help but stay outside for the majority of it. When we were cleaning up we found this poor little lizard in the trumpet vines. So we caught it for the boys and put it in the wagon and they played with him for at least 45 minutes straight!!! Who would have thought! Tad was the one that got the biggest kick out of it, he wanted so bad to pick it up but just couldn't make himself. It was funny. Eventually he grabbed it by the tail and carried it around with him (by the tail) for ever. Finally I distracted him enough to rescue the lizard and put it back in the vines. I get such a kick out of what they think is the coolest thing in the world.

Happy Mothers Day!!!!
I was reading Janae's post on her mothers day and I feel like I to should express how grateful I am that I am a mom. Today in sacrament meeting Sister Lunt, our relief society president gave a talk on motherhood. How sacred and divine our calling as mothers is. She shared a story about her daughter with us that just made me cry! (If any of you know me, it doesn't take much to do that!) She said her daughter was born a natural nurturer. She always had baby dolls around and was always taking care of them. All she wanted to do was be a mother. Marla said she told her once that she should have a hundred babies and she would set up cribs all over the house for them and she would help take care of them. Her daughter got married and soon found out that she would be a mother to a little boy. She was having problems and she said on a very cold December day her husband and her had to leave the hospital knowing that they would never hold that little baby in their arms. It broke my heart. The thought of not having my two beautiful children in my life is more than I can even imagine. I am so blessed to have them in my life. I am so grateful I have such an amazing mom that has helped me in raising my boys and everything else in my life. I can only hope that I can raise my children to be outstanding young men. To be strong members of the church and to hold the priesthood with honor. To all of you mom's that look at my blog, you are amazing women and I am so blessed to have you in my life! Thank you for all of your support and love and help. Your motherly instincts aren't only for your children, you have used them to help me at some point. Thank you and I hope you had a happy mothers day!

My very first game!!!!
For my birthday this year, Joe asked what I wanted and I told him that I had never been to a live baseball game and I have always wanted to go. So he took me to the game this weekend!!!!! It was a blast, I loved it! Here are some pictures from the game! They are just random, I don't even know who is in two of them!

You would think. . .
You would think a broken leg would scare this little boy. Not Darrell, Fearless Superman! The very thing that gave him his broken leg was his favorite hide out the other night. It was funny right after his broken leg he would walk over to the cement mixer and point to it and say ouchie, ouchie and just leave it alone. I think he has overcome his fear. What do you think?

How does your garden grow?
We decided we were sick of our yard looking so dead so we took back everything that we weren't going to use for the remodel and used the money to buy Flowers! I am so excited to have something pretty in the middle of my mess! Tad loves the grass that we bought. All he wants to do is run his fingers through it. He is so silly. I am loving his little personality right now.
This was a very special, one of a kind flower that is so rare that we are the only ones in the world that has one!
It grows at a very rapid pace. We got it planted and within seconds that little flower just shot right up! All it took was a little love and talkin' to.
